My goal as a therapist is to help you get to know yourself better and highlight your strengths, while teaching new healthy skills for tackling life’s obstacles. In therapy I partner with you and work towards goals YOU want to focus on. During sessions I will not criticize or judge you, but instead, collaboratively, help you determine the best strategies to solve your problems.
I am well versed in many different types of psychotherapy and utilize a strategy tailored to you, not a one size fits all approach. I am honest about whether my skill set and background can help you achieve your goals. If therapy with me is not a particularly good fit, I help my clients to find resources that may be useful to them, such as other practitioners, settings or forms of therapy.
My aim is to help my clients to make notable improvements in their lives. My clients rights, privacy, health and happiness always come first. Therapy with me will help my you to remember that while life is tough, you are too.
